RAINER WESTERMANN

Rainer Westermann advises leaders when reputation, trust, and achieving critical objectives are threatened. With extensive experience in Germany, Canada, and the United States, he works with C-suite executives, business owners, and non-profit leaders to build, protect, and restore reputation, particularly in special situations, transformation phases, and periods of heightened stakeholder scrutiny.

An entrepreneur, former senior executive, and trusted advisor, Rainer combines strategic perspective with hands-on leadership experience. Having served as an external consultant, an in-house decision maker, and a member of executive management, he understands the realities of leadership and how strategic communications and reputation management directly support corporate objectives.

Rainer is the former President of Reputation Advisors International. In 2021, he was elected Chairman of the Board of the Life Sciences Acceleration Alliance e.V., Munich, a German non-profit organization. He also serves as Board Advisor at Rosenberg Strategic Communications in Frankfurt.

Previously, Rainer was Global Head of Communications at Infineon Technologies, a DAX 30 company, responsible for corporate brand, internal and external communications, and government relations. As a Member of the Management Board of LHS Group, a NASDAQ- and Neuer Markt-listed U.S. software company, he led investor relations and managed communications during its acquisition by Sema Group.

Rainer serves on the Advisory Board of the TUM Institute for LifeLongLearning and is a lecturer at the TUM School of Management.Learning and is a lecturer at the TUM School of Management.
